Our Work with Cornwall Pride

Celebrating our milestones as we celebrate 1 year of B Corp. For Seasalt, inclusion isn’t an initiative – it’s a way of being – and everyone deserves to belong.

At Seasalt, we believe in creating a culture where everyone feels safe, valued and celebrated. It's why we're proud to have become an official partner of Cornwall Pride – a vibrant and vital organisation that champions inclusion, belonging and equality for LGBTQ+ and marginalised communities across the county.

Pride in action

We've sponsored Cornwall Pride events and taken part on events in Falmouth Pride 2024 and 2025. Seasalt colleagues joined the parade, supported on the stand and volunteered as marshals to help create a safe, celebratory space, and a limited-edition Pride cup was designed by our in-house graphics team and available to purchase to support the charity’s work.

We also ran an employee mannequin styling competition, encouraging staff to use fashion as a tool for self-expression and celebration of identity, and our first-ever Pride window displays featured across Seasalt shops in the UK and Ireland.

A Pride Collection with purpose

Our first-ever Pride Collection launched in 2025 – a bold, joyful range designed to celebrate identity and community. 100% of profits from the Pride Collection are split equally between Cornwall Pride and international LGBTQ+ human rights charity Kaleidoscope Trust.

At a time when the rights of LGBTQ+ people are under threat in many parts of the world, this initiative is about more than fundraising – it’s a public stand for equity, inclusion and love. The collection has raised over £32,000 as of the 9th September 2025.

Creating a safe space for our teams

As a non-binary person who falls under the gender non-conforming umbrella, I feel fashion is essential to safely exploring and representing our personal attachment to gender.

Since January 2024, we’ve increased LGBTQ+ representation in our workforce from 6.31% to 9%, a reflection of improved psychological safety and belonging among our teams – supported by new pronoun badges and guidance for employees on how to respond to customer questions and talk about the topic of gender identity and pronouns.

Looking ahead

We’re proud of what this partnership has achieved so far – and we’re just getting started. As we continue to support Cornwall Pride and grow our internal inclusion efforts, we’ll keep working to ensure that everyone who interacts with Seasalt – as a customer, team member or partner – feels safe, seen and celebrated.

Because inclusion isn’t an initiative – it’s a way of being – and because everyone deserves to belong.

Seasalt Cornwall’s support has been nothing short of incredible for Cornwall Pride. Their commitment to our mission of inclusion and belonging has helped us amplify our message across Cornwall, creating spaces where everyone feels celebrated and valued. This partnership has shown how businesses can truly make a difference, not just for Pride but for the wider community, bringing people together and inspiring real change. We’re so grateful to Seasalt Cornwall for standing with us and showing that Cornwall is a place where everyone belongs.
