This year, our winter clothing collection follows the journey to the festive season. It takes us down cobbled high streets, across windswept harbours and over coastal clifftops, because the search for the perfect present is worth the extra mile. There’s no length we wouldn’t go to Bring the Joy, and this is how we brought it to life.  

It all starts in our Falmouth studio. It’s where our designers come together to form the building blocks of every collection. Transitional shapes. Joyful colour. Playful patterns. It all begins here. 

From the very first drawing, our print and design teams work hard to capture the festive season. Mood boards, colour palettes, illustrations – each is a patch on the blanket, all working in tandem to form patterns and pieces that our customers will love and layer all winter long. 

Pieces explore the contrasts of winter through soft textures and detailed stitching, made with responsibly sourced fabrics for the best of comfort and luxury. Prints are crafted and characterful, embodying winter’s spiced reds and warm berry tones. Folkloric florals intertwine with forest foliage, inspired by winter woodlands and night gardens. 

“Together, they create this warm, playful Christmas story that weaves throughout the collection.” Says Kathryn Harvey, Print Design Manager. “It feels magical.” 

The result? Effortless silhouettes with sculptural gathers, interesting twists and golden accents. Comfortable knitwear, designed to bring the warmth, and embrace that true winter feeling. 

Dresses that do it all, bringing joy and colour to winter wardrobes, and partywear that celebrates relaxed luxury with fluid satin skirts and supple velvet separates in responsibly sourced fabrics.

It’s a collection of pieces that should last well beyond the festive period – Christmas outfits for women and men that encapsulate crisp mornings and firelit evenings but still tempt you to reach for them time and time again, even when the new year rolls around. 

Hours in the studio, days on location – the photography team make every second count once the collection is complete, capturing what makes it so special, ready to share with those who will love it.  

Our Bring the Joy photography was a labour of love, and our team and model went on their own journey to make it happen. They took the story from our Falmouth shop to the windy inclines of Carn Glava clifftop, and across watery depths on the ferry to the Beach House, Falmouth.  

It was a day spent fighting the breeze to protect props from steep drops, even fishing out ribbon-wrapped boxes that had escaped to the water, all to get those picture-perfect moments that tell the story of a truly Cornish Christmas expedition.
