My mum lives in South Africa so Mother’s Day is usually a facetime celebration. Even though she’s in the sun, she always appreciates a light layer which is why I’m sending her this organic cotton scarf; it’s a little piece of Cornwall that she can wrap up in, and the print reminded me so much of her garden.
My best friend will have her second baby around Mother's Day. New parents always get overwhelmed with gifts for the new arrival, so I'm using it as an excuse to get something just for her. I'm buying her a colourful, comfy pair of pyjamas to wear for the newborn days. These are exactly her style.
My mum can sometimes be tricky to buy for but she’s also the easiest person to please because she finds so much joy in the small stuff. I picked out these floral bamboo socks because they’ll be a bright and cheerful upgrade to her everyday routine. They’re a little bit of luxury she wouldn’t think to treat herself to, but I know she’ll wear them on repeat.
