Celebrating £1 Million to Mind
As part of our B Corp birthday, we're marking the moments that have made our year.

Back in 2021, we launched a three-year partnership with mental health charity Mind to ensure more people experiencing mental health problems receive the support and respect they deserve. What began as a commitment to raise £300,000 has now grown into something extraordinary. We’re incredibly proud to share that together with our customers, we’ve raised over £1 million to support Mind and partners SAMH (Scotland) and Inspire (Northern Ireland).
Why Mind?
Mind provides life-changing advice, services and advocacy for people living with mental health problems. They run infolines and legal advice lines, campaign to improve mental health services and policies, and support young people’s mental health hubs. They also work to raise awareness and challenge stigma which, in a world where the demand for mental health is rising, is more important than ever.
With Mind, every pound makes a difference: £10 helps Mind answer one enquiry; £500 pays an advisor for a week; and £22,000 covers a year of calls from people in need.
We are incredibly grateful to Seasalt Cornwall for raising an incredible £1 million for Mind. With the current mental health crisis, their support is more important than ever. The funds raised through this partnership have helped — and will continue to help — us keep our vital services running. We cannot thank Seasalt enough for bringing us closer to a future where no mind is left behind.

Campaigns that make a difference
In addition to our pledged donations, our partnership with Mind has been brought to life through a series of powerful, purpose-led campaigns.
Our ‘Brave the Weather Together’ campaign launched in autumn 2023 and focused on the mental health benefits of getting outside in all weather. Our Seasalt Rain collection – developed using high-performance, responsibly sourced materials – was a natural fit. For every full-price raincoat sold, we donated £5 to Mind. The campaign started so many great conversations and was honoured with a Drapers Conscious Fashion Award for Best Charity Initiative.
We've also raised money for Mind through the sales of Charity Sailor Shirts, which we launched in October 2022 and then again on World Mental Health Day 2024. Our second edition of the shirt featured stripes in Mind’s signature blue. 1,684 shirts were sold, raising £27,576 – enough to fund Mind’s entire Infoline phone bill for a year. All profits from the shirt go directly to the Infoline and legal line, which are seeing rising demand year on year.
We also introduced Ayden Giving, a seamless donation option at checkout. Our customers embraced it wholeheartedly, turning spare change into big change. In 2025, Adyen are matching all charity donations - which means Seasalt customers have doubled their donations
We are delighted that our partnership with Mind has proved so successful and we are very proud to be able to support all the undeniably essential work that they do. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their generous support, allowing our donations to stetch so much further, to help those who are facing mental health challenges.
Our partnership with Mind will continue in 2025, with more campaigns in the pipeline. While we’re proud of the £1 million milestone, we know there’s still work to be done.
Mental health affects us all, and we’ll keep showing up, speaking up and doing what we can to ensure no one has to face it alone.
