Tone & Texture | Colour Study 

This September, we're seeking richer tones and softer textures. Pared-back silhouettes are the canvas for conversational prints and patterns. Effortless jersey pieces and workwear-inspired layers create an artful balance on changeable days.

The palette was informed by the changing colours of Cornwall’s landscape, and the way that local artists interpret this yearly shift on canvas. In the studio, we were particularly inspired by John Wells, who used abstract forms and sweeping brush strokes to give his paintings a sense of energy and movement.

Deep forest greens and earthen reds weave their way through the collection, rendered in yarn-dyed checks and Fair Isle knits. Designed to be loved and layered as the leaves change and the seasons shift, embrace the drama of Cornwall’s windswept landscape with a wardrobe of transitional pieces.

An enduring wardrobe staple, woven for a soft, rippled texture that gives seasonal tones new depth. Originally crafted for its durability, the Cornish artists of the late 20th century adopted corduroy for long days in the studio. Today, the fabric has become synonymous with autumn, becoming the perfect canvas for a sweep of rich, transitional colours each year. 

Designed with the changing seasons in mind, bright shades and soft yarns make this knitwear collection one of our favourites yet. New pieces feature heritage Fair Isle stitch patterns and old favourites return in a drift of new colours, including the beloved Dawson Pick Cardigan which returns with a new sister style: the Dawson Pick Jumper.  

As always, 100% of the wool used in our clothing is sourced from RWS-certified farms that protect the welfare of their sheep and take a progressive approach to land management.
