As a Creative Operations Manager you’ll possess an excellent understanding of how Creative teams work productively and are able to scale effectively. You’ll have a strong knowledge of our creative direction, brand values and our customer. You’ll be responsible for checking all creative briefs, ensuring they’re actionable and that work coming through to the team is consistent and on brand. Also working collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams to ensure an efficient, smooth running branding process. You’ll also utilise systems and run meetings to facilitate workshops, negotiate deadlines, handover of assets and provide succinct feedback to teams.
Working with stakeholders both internally and externally, you’ll utilise your communication and collaboration skills to ensure seamless planning, mapping and implementation, ensuring the end user and sales targets are kept in mind throughout.
This is a full-time role, temporary role, expected to last approximately 12 months to cover family leave.
As part of our hybrid working approach, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall Head Office locations (minimum 40% of working week) and remotely within the UK.
You’ll help us by:

Mapping the Creative Seasonal calendar and pre-empting projects.

Receiving all creative and branding briefs, proof checking information, timelines and distributing to the team.

Attending sign off meetings to ensure feedback to designers is communicated and actioned.

Building strong inter-departmental relationships, organising workshops, meetings, taking notes and sending out actions, ensuring expectations are met and communicated.

Planning and managing the Creative and Branding budget, tracking spending and liaising with Finance to ensure costs are kept within budget.

Managing a talent pool of Freelance Designers and Artworkers, owning the onboarding process, briefing and day to day interactions.

Creating process maps for all departments feeding into Creative Graphics, making sure they work for both teams and managing these relationships.

Managing all woven labels, swing tickets, barcodes and brand packaging within our goods for resale.

Completing seasonal forecasting and managing stock levels alongside suppliers, avoiding and minimising write off costs due to legislation or certification changes.

Managing branding and printing supplier performance, highlighting strengths and areas where greater support is required.

Building a strong branding strategy, eliminating current issues on multi country sourcing, write off costs and general improvements on management.

As an Affiliate Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing our affiliate partnerships, driving revenue growth through effective affiliate marketing strategies, and fostering strong relationships with key partners. You’ll own and manage your channel budget and work in collaboration with other channel leads to deliver results.
This is a part-time role working 4 days per week, and a temporary contract expected to last approximately 12 months to cover family leave.

You’ll help us by:
- Developing and executing the overall affiliate marketing strategy, driving customer acquisition, revenue, profit and growth.

As a Merchandiser within our Product Merchandising team, you’ll work collaboratively with other teams to deliver a balanced, commercial and profitable range in line with Seasalt’s brand vision, strengthening our market position and proposing new opportunities.
You’ll manage the product trading requirements to maintain the appropriate levels of stock in the department and categories, whilst maximising product margin. Collaborating across teams, you’ll ensure analysis and information is in place to guide current and future range content.
This role is preferably Cornwall based, but is also available remotely across the South West of the UK with monthly travel to our Cornwall Head offices. If you are a Cornwall based candidate, this role will be based at Head Office with a hybrid working approach. A 5% relocation allowance is available to candidates relocating from outside of Cornwall.
You’ll help us by:
- Working with the Product Merchandise Manager to ensure seasonal and departmental budgets/forecasts are thought through by channel (retail, online, and partners) and analysed in context of historical sales and seasons to be fully traded.
- Defining a clear option strategy that is in line with agreed targets
- Maintaining a departmental/category level Range Plan that accurately reflects the planned buy levels across all channels and is in line with agreed budgets/forecasts.
- With Buying and Design, ensure that product reviews are held with senior department managers at the appropriate time for product sign-off in all trading channels.
- Overseeing range development, ensuring that the product reflects the Seasalt strategy, the range is without gaps or duplication and that the season is logically and commercially thought through.
- Working with Buying and Design to appropriately plan historical bestselling product blocks and bestselling styles, ensuring an appropriate level of newness in range builds and that product attributes are being analysed during the range build process.
- Working with the Product Merchandise Manager to reflect business strategies in your product area and direct team
- Reviewing product performance, presenting summaries and ensuring current trading opportunities or challenges are being reflected in future season ranges
- Supporting in coaching and building a strong Merchandising team who are able to react and trade at pace, with a focus on succession planning.

- Previous experience in a Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser role with experience in planning product

As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a key role in driving the planning, forecasting and trading of each season’s range using your strong analysis skills. Supporting our Merchandisers, you’ll help achieve agreed sales and profit targets and occasionally deputise for them. In this collaborative role, you’ll work with the Product team, including our Assistant Buyers to support the creation of each seasaon’s range and ensuring purchase orders for bulk production are accurate and in line with agreed critical path.
Please note, as part of our Seasalt Connected approach to ways of working, this role will be based flexibly across our Cornwall head office locations (minimum 40% of working week) and remotely within the UK.
You'll help us by:
- Supporting the Merchandiser by collating information for the Range Plan for all sales channels, ensuring the range plan is accurately maintained and submitted for company roll ups in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all relevant tasks are completed in line with the Critical Path.
- Working with the Merchandiser to understand and actualise commitment, sales, markdown and open to buy on the category cards.
- Proactively identifying blocks of product to create forecasting models, using line monitors to make recommendations for new orders or rephasing of current commitments as required.
- Ensuring all purchase orders are accurate and reflect the required level of commitment, the correct sizing and the desired intake dates, updating department ratios where necessary from size analysis.
- Assessing channel performance, key driving categories and best and worst selling lines and suggest appropriate course of action to Merchandiser to maximise sales.
- Creating price change models (either markdown or promotional) and reviewing fabric commitment under the supervision of our Merchandisers, as a reaction to current trade.
- Working with the Merchandiser to build and update relevant seasonal reports.
- Collating all necessary information for monitoring the departmental margin.
- Assessing sales (by option), reviewing intake of stock and distribution in line with requirements.
